The RAW path continues with updates.

Hello everyone i know its been a while, just wanted to give you an update since my last post, as you know my last post consisted of what i thought was detox healing crisis...and from what i can tell that was exactly it. Since powering through trying to stay raw (which i have been doing) to the best of my abilities  (85-90%) the issues i was having last month are gone. and for the last 2+weeks  i have been feeling great.

I still am incorporating working with the E3 live, currently i have increased my dosage to 3 - 4 tbsp in the morning and 2 tbsp at night or afternoon.

We we are having incredible weather up here and i try my best to get out everyday either long walk or bike ride.

besides that, i'm also incorporating more fruits mostly smoothies, as my activity increases so do the amount of CARBS (lol) i need, according to durianriders. So far its working although i seem to on occasion go on date binges.

Detoxification healing crisis?

Its been a while i know, over the last couple of weeks i ive been going through what some may call a "healing crisis" this mostly started with me realizing i was yet again shooting off aim on my diet and lifestyle. eating too much meat , fats , and eating out too often. This happens from time to time so i started getting back on track and getting focus. The lack of energy during the first week was pretty bad, then moved on to me not staying focused and having a late night that included alcohol, sweets , meat blah blah waking up the next day and regretting it as per usual. the day after that i actually got sick, aches, pains, low energy again, then came the not so nice looking mucus that i was spitting up , after a couple of days of this it finally broke and i had a day of nice focus and clarity which brings me to now. Today i felt ok so so not 100% its an onward + upward battle. I've committed myself over the next week to do the following.

1+ liter of green juice 
2 - 4tsb of E3live (which im still experimenting with, unsure of the effects)
1 20 min session of rebounding or light weightlifting
at least 80 - 90% Raw vegan
im going to attempt to starting incorporating a yoga routine at least 1 - 2 times a week.

I also realized that spring summer is fast approaching and i REALLY want to hit it hard this year with alot of biking, running, and other outdoor sports and of course having an epic garden in the backyard.

Basement grow op update

I bought a new 8 light ballast a couple of days ago and moved some of my plants around etc. Today i show you whats going on down there as well as future plans to get new seedlings started. Check out the youtube video.

Current Reading - PH Miracle, Dr. Robert Young

What am i reading?

Right now i am reading the PH Miracle by Dr. Robert Young, while i have been about 70 - 80% Raw in the last 2 years i find it interesting that the content of this book is actually very strict. If you haven't read it the general synopses is to eat mainly or all alkaline foods, while this is generally a good idea its even more restrictive than my current food intake. I think what i find most interesting is the fact the Dr. Young donsn't advocate a lot of fruits...this does hit a cord with me as i do eat alot of fruit and find it strange from natures perspective that the abundance of fruit on the planet is not suitable for human consumption because it contains too much sugar? but im not a researcher or DR so who am i to question. So far i am about 50% through the book and will be taking some pointers from him, mainly in the areas of PH testing and adding PH drops to water etc.
Another item i find interesting is he also does not encourage the use of Algae's (i use E3live) so no biggie form my experience E3live has been very beneficial minus the cost of course.

Ill keep posting my thoughts as i finish the book.


Update Feb 4 2012,

OK so i will be honest with you, i didn't finish this book. Why? well as i kept reading, i didn't really agree with a lot in this book. For the most part the lack of consumption of fruit. I love fruit and beleive that i thrive on a high water fruits. (with alot of greens of course) Also with the whole testing of PH i think was taken a bit far...testing your Urine i think is a little much your urine should very pretty drastically. anyways. In conclusion i was curious about the Ph miracle in general and took action and read the book Well most of it... :)

Tomato planting

If you have been watching my YouTube channel you may know that I bought some tomato seeds to plant. They have now been planted as of january 5' see attached photo. let's see how they do I'm only using 150 watt total light. Going to have to give these little guys a little more heat going to have to figure out something for that.

E3live 5 day experiment --> (revised to 14 day)

Ok well since I'm on a dry spurt of wheat grass I'm going to try e3live for a week and try to take notes on how I'm feeling throught the day.
Im going to take 2 tablespoons in about 8-10 oz of coconut water every morning. I have been trying to eat pretty clean for last couple of days and going forward will do the same. If I eat something questionable I will try to document it.
Wish me luck I know a lot of people love the e3 but I have taken it before but not on a regular basis. I may have had slight headaches from it before but I don't know forsure. Ill do my best to keep the experiment updated.

Update! Day1
Monday morn took first 2 Tbsp of E3 live with coconut water :)
Update Day1 - Afternoon 
Feeling pretty good, just had a huge salad and a regular sized piece of lasagna.


Day 2:
Went pretty well has 2tsbp this moring and felt pretty good throughout the day. Mind you no crappy eating today either.

Day 3:
2 more tablespoons down the hatch. its midday now and feeling hungry
Well went to whole foods and got some veggies and rice and artichoke salad. With bottle of Fiji water.come back later and buy some juicing stuff.
well that ends today came home pounded a green juice couple of bananas and ate some soup the Mrs made. So far so good, my general thought at this point is I'm feeling more relaxed ans focused but that might be because I just came off 2 weeks of holiday. Give or take a work day here and there (work never ends for an entrepreneur)

Day 4: (January 5, 2012)
Still feeling good and mentally pretty calm even though the tension is starting to build from back to work whoes. Going to try to eat a nice lunch and see how the rest of the day goes.
its now night and feeling great  tomorrow is the last day of the 5 day experiment. But i have decided to extend this to a 14 ritual as in my experience it takes about 2weeks for anything natual to take effect. but so far i must say that i feel in a state of better focus and relaxation throuout the day. again my diet has also been very good over the last week. tomorrow will be a good test as it will be  a fast paced working day with some travel and not to nice food choices around.

Day 5 (January 6 2012)
This was a busy day today so didn't get to update on the same day. This day went very well considering it was a 12hr work day. what i am noticing is that my level of tolerance has changed and i am much more mellow and no as anxious as i usually am, this really is fantastic.

Day 6 (January 7 2012)
Today im feeling not 100%  didn't get the best sleep last night but was able to get through the day well. I starting getting really tired around 7pm and actually went to bed around 11pm. Maybe

Day 7 (January 8 2012)
Energy levels are back to normal, had my usual 2 tsb in the coconut water and off i was. Did about 30min of weights in the early afternoon and had a nice Carrot, Spinach, apple, celery juice (32oz) afterwards. Took a shower and feeling good. Today has also been a clean eating day comprised mostly of fruit and the green juice. its about 5pm now.

Day 8 (Jan 9 2012)
Reduce the booze, ok so last night i was invited for some drinks and i had 2 beers + 1.5 glasses of red wine. When i first woke up i felt OK but as the day progressed i knew it was a bad idea. I used to be able to drink quite a bit not any more it had probably been about 4 -6 months since i drank anything over 1 glass of anything. now i know to try to avoid in most cases and be pointed out as a cheap drunk, which is OK with me. Did the same E3live routine etc but stiff felt (*^&*% most of the day. Lesson learned. Lesson is that if you want to be productive the next day then don't drink too much the night before in my case that means 4 drinks, i'll have to test out 3 :)

Day 9 - 15 (Jan 10 - 15)
Sorry haven't had alot of time to keep this updated but you will be happy to know that i have continued my 2tsbp of e3 live. And this being the end of the updated 14 day trial here is my conclusion.

Conclusion:
The last 2 weeks have been great very stable, by that i mean consistently clam relaxed and most of all focused. Yes i also have been adding about 32oz of green juice per day during this and im sure that is contributing to the overall wellness. I have a new bottle of e3live that i will continue using and most likely up my intake over the next week to 4 tsbp per day (2 in morning and 2 in afternoon). I will keep you guys posted on this as well.
